Me (left) with Jim Fattori circa 1976. I’m 18 years old. Drinking age back then…

After unceremoniously being asked to leave Northeastern University in the Spring of 1976, I decided to try my hand at selling Disco Sucks T-shirts at concerts. One thing led to another, and I found myself doing merchandising for rock and roll bands for the next 14 years. Joey Psychotic and I convinced Frank Zappa to let us do his T-shirts throughout the 1980 tours, as we had been bugging him to let us since 1976. He finally got sick of us and gave in. My familiarity with his inner sphere allowed me the opportunity to take photos of him and his bands from 1977 until 1982. Keep a lookout as I add more Frank photos and other artists, including Adrian Belew, Little Feat ( the Lowell George era), The Dead, David Johanson, Squeeze, John Hiatt, Robert Cray, Elvis Costello, and a few more- and maybe some other stuff as well.
